Hello, and welcome to the NSASD website. My name is Tanya Thomsen, the President of the NSASD for the 2008-2009 term. I am married with a stepson, three daughters, and a son. I returned to school to fulfill a lifelong dream of joining the nursing profession. I am entering my final year at SDSU Brookings and looking forward to experiencing all that nursing has to offer. I became involved in the NSASD while finishing my prerequisites to enter the program. I joined to be an advocate for nursing students, the public, and the profession. I soon realized the number of advantages and experiences that can be acquired from being part of such a great organization.

Lora Healy, our website administrator, has done a wonderful job in vamping the website to suit the needs of nursing students.
